Hi! I’m Rita — your strategic marketing thought partner.

After 25+ years leading brands in tourism, hospitality, and entertainment—from DreamWorks to City Winery—I realized the work I love most isn’t just about campaigns. It’s about clarity, momentum, and partnership: helping teams move from complexity to confidence.

That realization led me to launch Rita Chen Consulting, a WBENC-certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) rooted in partnership, strategic clarity, and thoughtful structure. Today, I collaborate with growth-minded teams to co-create marketing that inspires, aligns, and fuels intentional growth—with empathy, curiosity, and plenty of heart.

I thrive in the messy middle: helping clients uncover what matters, connect the dots, and find the smartest way forward.

The Explorer in Me

When I’m not advising clients or digging into audience insights, you’ll find me hiking six days through Scotland, exploring Chicago by foot and bike along its major waterways, or cooking gluten/dairy/grain-free meals (find me at @TritaEats).

And yes—I once helped pull off a surprise Prince concert that sold out in 33 minutes.
